JACK RICH INC. COALCRACKER WEEKEND TO CLOSE OUT THE 2015 SEASON AT BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND WITH FRIDAY & SUNDAY RACES!

This Friday, September 5th the USS Achey Sportsman will run their final points event of the 2015 season in the Sportsman Coalcracker 40. A quality field of drivers is expected for the $1,200 pay day. With every position increased, green money has been increased to $120.
Last week's big winner, Doug Hendricks leads the points over Tim Fitzpatrick and Mike Lisowski. The 2015 Point Champion will be crowed in Victory Lane following the feature.
The Savage 61 Roadrunners, and Slifko Fabrication Street Stocks will run their final points event of the 2015 season. Terry Kramer looks to capture his first points title while Chris Holland tries to close the 29 point gap.
Bossinger plans on cruising to his first Big Diamond Street Stock title, with Jeremy Becker and Geesaman close behind. A 20 lap modified non-winners race will be for any modified driver who ran 3 or more events this season. Winner will receive a guaranteed starting spot in the Jack Rich Inc. Coalcracker 72.
General Admission is $12, Senior Citizens are $10, kids 12 and under are free, active military with ID are free. Gates open at 5:45, racing at 8:15.
The Sportsman Coalcracker is an open draw event to all cars signed in. Any track stamp tire will be accepted.
All focus then turns to second show of the weekend on Sunday, September 6th for the biggest race of the season at Big Diamond, the Jack Rich Memorial Coal Cracker 72 event paying $10,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th, and $500 to take the green flag.
A stellar field of cars from the east coast is expected to be on hand for this lucrative race. Any American Racer track stamp will be accepted.
Drivers will draw for their heat starting spot and redraw for the feature if they finish in a redraw position in their heat race. Twenty-four cars are slated to start the feature event.
The fan-favorite Savage 61 Roadrunners will also be competing in their Coalcracker 25 event, which is paying $300 to win.
The Xcel 600 Modifieds will round out the night.
Yet the thrills don't stop there. The night includes a fantastic fireworks display at intermission.
Gates will open at 5:00 pm on Sunday, with warm-ups at 7:45 PM, and the first heat hitting the track at 8:15 PM. Grandstand general admission for Sunday's Coalcracker will be $27.00;
Senior Citizens will be $25.00;
Children 6-12 will be $5.00; active military (with ID) & kids under 6 admitted free of charge.

Pit participation fees will be $40.00 with no license required.
Car entry fee for the Coal Cracker 72 event is $30 if received before Sunday, September 6th, $50 the day of the race.
Forms can be downloaded on track website at www.bigdspeedway.com, or at the speedway pit office.
All 72 laps will be run under green flag conditions with a fuel stop (only fuel) taking place at lap 40.
RAINDATE FOR SUNDAY'S RACE WILL BE ON LABOR DAY, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 with a 7:00pm start time.
In the event of rain on Friday, September 4, the entire racing card will be eliminated. Racing will then commence with the Coaclcracker 72 as scheduled on Sunday, September 6.
