$6 General Admission Night This Friday At Big Diamond Speedway

MINERSVILLE, PA. -- Fans will get more than their monies worth this Friday night as Savage 61 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram present a three-division show for just $6 at Big Diamond Speedway.

That’s right, $6 for a night of CJ’s Tire & Automotive 358 Modifieds, U.S.S. Achey Sportsman and the Savage 61 Roadrunners.

Savage 61 is Reading’s King of Discounts as they specialize in new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and pre-owned vehicles. You can visit them online at or call them at 877-360-6875.

Heading into Friday’s race, Ryan Godown leads Jeff Strunk by 81points. Defending 358 modified track champion Billy Pauch, Jr., is third, 118 points out of the lead but he only trails Strunk by 37 points. Ryan Grim and Duane Howard are fourth and fifth respectively in the point standings and they are separated by six points.

There has yet to be a repeat winner in the 358 modified division this year.

Tim Fitzpartick is the new point leader in the sportsman division after former points leader Brandon Grosso missed last Friday’s race to attend his prom.

Grosso dropped to third in the standings behind Ray Woodall, Jr., as the two are separated by 42 points while Fitzpatrick leads Woodall by 176 points. Wayne Witmer, Chuck Fayash, and Doug Hendricks, round out the top five in points.

Andy Fayash III leads the roadrunner division point standings over Kody Sites by 50 point with Terry Kramer, Tim Fitzpatrick, Jr., and T.J. Fitzpatrick, rounding out the top five in points.

In the No Sweat Service street stock division, Rich Bossinger took over the points lead from Eric Tripp following last week’s race. He leads Tripp by 65 points with Jeremy Becker, Elvin Brennan III and Jasen Geesaman rounding out the top five.

Fans will want to mark their calendars for Friday, July 1 for the annual B&H Landscaping Georgie Stevenson Memorial. The 30-lap feature for the 358 modifieds pays $4,000 to win and $300 to take the green flag along with the Mark’s Service Center cash dash. The sportsman feature pays $1,000 to win. Also on the card on July 1 will be the roadrunners, 600 modifieds and fireworks.
