BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 22, 2017 . . . Afternoon rain and more rain
being forecast into the evening forced the cancellation of NASCAR stock car
racing action at Grandview Speedway. The Saturday night card of racing was to
have included the TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models, Sportsman and the
first Saturday night appearance of the season for the popular Blast from the
Past Vintage stock car racers.
Racing action will return to the one-third-mile, banked clay track on
Saturday, April 29th with the TP Trailers Modifieds, BRC Late Models
and Sportsman being featured. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. and that will
include the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet happening as the main gates
open. Racing will get the green flag at 7 p.m.
Adult admission is just $15 with at least 12 events of stock car racing
being presented. Youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. And there is always
free parking on the grounds of the speedway,
