GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY RELEASES 2024 RACING SCHEDULE LOADED WITH WEEKLY ACTION ALONG WITH TRADITIONAL FAVORITES PLUS THUNDER ON THE HILL SERIES SPECIALS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – After completing a highly competitive and exciting racing season last year, with multiple winners in each division and two new Track Champions, Grandview Speedway is ready to get back to racing with an action-packed schedule for the 2024 season.

The 2024 racing season will be the 62nd consecutive year of professional stock car racing at Grandview Speedway, and once again will be under the direction of the founding Rogers Family.

On track action for the new season will begin on Saturday, March 23 with the first of nine scheduled Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Car double-headers starting at 12 Noon.

The following Saturday, March 30 will be the annual Free-to-the-public open practice session, open to all divisions starting at 12 Noon. Grandstand admission is free to all spectators while the driver’s test their equipment for the new season.

The official 62nd season opener will follow on Saturday, April 6 with the 7th annual Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker 50 for Big Block/Small Block Modifieds. The race carries a rain date of April 13, and the Sportsman will also join the program starting at 6 pm.

Traditional fan favorite events are once again a big part of the schedule with the 54th annual running of the following races, the Firecracker 40 for the Sportsman on July 13, Forrest Rogers Memorial for the Modifieds on August 10, and the end of the season Freedom 76 Modified Championship on September 21. Each of these races carries a rain date of the following week.

The weekly Saturday night racing programs will once again feature the 358 Modifieds and new for 2024 the 602 Crate Sportsman running in two-division programs. T.P. Trailers and T. P Truck Equipment will once again be sponsoring both divisions in 2024 and provide bonus money (Modified $300, 602 Sportsman $200) to both winners every Saturday night throughout the season.

For the upcoming year, the wingless USAC East Coast Sprints will make their annual visit joining the Modifieds and 602 Sportsman on Saturday, May 11.

On selected Saturdays the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Cars will be joining the show on May 25, June 22, July 27, August 17, and September 7.

In the past, different traveling divisions have been added to the schedule as a third class on selected Saturday nights.  However, due to several date conflicts either with the Speedway schedule or the traveling series schedule, unfortunately we were unable to agree upon dates for some of the third division series that have been hosted in the past. Speedway management hopes that these series will be able to return in the future, and race fans should look for some possible special events to be added once the season gets underway.

Grandview Speedway is very pleased to host weekly two-division shows with the continued great support that the Modified and Sportsman teams provide to Grandview on a weekly basis.

The 35th season of the Rogers Family/Bob Miller promoted Thunder on the Hill Racing Series returns with three events in 2024, including two returning favorites in the Jesse Hockett Classic Eastern Storm featuring the USAC National Sprint Tour non-wing Sprints, and the always popular Hodnett Cup Pennsylvania 410 Sprint car SpeedWeek series race that pays $10,000 to win. Both programs will see the 358 Modifieds join the show.

A new race event on the Thunder on the Hill schedule last season was the High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series. This new series is organized and promoted by 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson and Five-Time World of Outlaws Sprint Series Champion Brad Sweet. This 410 Sprint-only event will return to Grandview once again in 2024 on Tuesday, May 28 and see the drivers racing for a huge $20,000 to win! (This event carries a rain date of Wednesday May 29).

Remaining dates for the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage drivers are April 14, May 10, June 7, July 12 August 2 and 30, September 28, and October 19.

Some off-track extras this season include Back to the 90’s Night on July 6, a Kid’s Money Scramble on August 3. In addition, once a month, there will be the ever popular fan participation Trivia Nights on April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 24, and September 14.

Speedway management is again offering the always popular season passes. The grandstand passes cover all Saturday night events, from the Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker through to the Freedom 38 Sportsman and Freedom 76 Modified championship races in September. The season pass does not include the Rogers Family/Bob Miller promoted Thunder on the Hill special events, or the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro/Vintage shows.
