LATEST HALL OF FAME CLASS UNVEILED FROM COAL REGION RACING; 2024 CEREMONY LOCATION WILL REMAIN THE SAME...By Gary Lileck

Monday January 15 - A new year is upon us, and Coal Region Racing has diligently completed the latest Hall of Fame list for 2024. This year's induction is the fourth installment (2019, 2022, 2023, 2024).

Our associates have concluded a lengthy discussion of nominations that were received via email, social media, phone calls and hand written letters. Upon obtaining everyone's input, Coal Region Racing took on the task of selecting twelve names into this year's Hall of Fame. The overall decision was by no means an easy one to make. Many possibilities that missed the cut will certainly be considered in future classes.

For the third straight year, the Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place at the Schuylkill Haven (PA) Island Park. The picturesque setting is a perfect location for the gathering of racing enthusiasts. The dinner (provided this year by Hess Catering), events and inductions will take place inside of the Rotary Pavilion. Ticket order and pricing information will be released shortly. The event takes place on Sunday June 30 with a start time of 1:00PM.

Recipients, friends and family will not want to miss this special annual event. The Hall of Fame banquets are not just for the recipients and families, however. It is also a perfect opportunity for fans to meet with drivers and learn about the history of our sport. Many people will bring along their racing memorabilia and trade stories throughout the afternoon's course.

Presenting the 2024 Coal Region Racing Hall of Fame Inductees: Larry Acker, Joe Bluis, Frankie Burke, Larry Graver, Doug Hoffman, Don Loder, Keith Prutzman, Bill Quinter, Michael Radocha, Cecil Thompson, Warren Ruffner (Peg and Jerry Frank Media Inductee), and Mary Ann Muscara (George Stevenson Special Recognition).
