Many wondered what the future of NJ’s New Egypt Speedway was going to be when Fred Vahlsing elected not to open the speedway this season after owning it for two decades.
The answer seems to be clear now as Vahlsing confirmed he’s in the process of selling the property for non-racing use, stating that “it’s done.”
New Egypt Speedway has made headlines several times over its 80-year history. Now, for potentially the final time, it is once again a Newsmaker.
