AMB MOTORSPORTS DRIVER CHANGE! (Doug Ayres photo)
QUAKERTOWN, PA – Andy Ressler has decided to step out of the seat of the AMB Motorsports # 46 NASCAR Dirt Late Model effective August 24, 2012. We at AMB Motorsports are very appreciative of Andy’s knowledge and hard work throughout the 2012 season and wish him well in his future racing endeavors. Andy has driven the AMB Motorsports # 46 Late Model to 5 top 5 finishes and 10 top 10 finishes and as of August 19, 2012 was sitting ninth in points. Visit www.amb46.com for further news and information from AMB Motorsports.
With three scheduled races left at Grandview Speedway, AMB Motorsports has decided to put Kyle Merkel of Gilbertsville, PA in the seat for at least two of the last three point races. Kyle is scheduled to run The Hillbilly 50 at I-77 Raceway Park in West Virginia next weekend (September 1, 2012) but with the opportunity to race close to home that trip could be canceled to race at Grandview Speedway. A driver will be named later for the 2013 racing season.

PARKING AND CAMPING AREAS ADDED, RULES IN PLACE FOR CAMPING AS GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY GETS READY FOR HUGE BPG FREEDOM 76
BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 16, 2012 . . . Interest is running high, extremely high, for the $50,000 to win 50th Anniversary BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified Classic at Grandview Speedway.
With the huge amount of interest being shown in the 76-lap race track management has announced that there will be increased parking in designated areas surrounding the speedway grounds including at the corner of Passmore and Hoffmansville Road. In addition there will be new camping areas to go along with the camping that will be permitted on the speedway grounds.
No BLOCK PARKING OF CAMPERS will be allowed. Camping on the speedway grounds will be handled sensibly with regard to your camping neighbors. No campers will be allowed on the grounds until after September 6th.
Added to the camping available on the speedway grounds there will also be a camping area open across from the fourth turn area of the speedway.
“We want everyone attending this history making event for weekly short track racing at Grandview Speedway to have an enjoyable time,” said assistant track general manager Tina Rogers. “We will have ample signage so that fans will know where all the parking and camping areas are located. The neighboring properties will be charging for parking and camping. ”
There will be three ticket windows open for race tickets. Advance ticket holders (this includes those with season passes) will be able to enter at the main entrance and at the fourth turn gate.
Additional porta john facilities will be in place.
